Hello! My name is Katy...
I’m from London but spent much of my childhood growing up in Ireland, thus the confusing accent! I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid but Ireland’s lack of a space program and my master's degree in anthropology underprepared me for that. So, I did the next best thing and trained to be a scuba diving instructor. I spent 4 years teaching SCUBA diving on the island of Roatan in the Caribbean where I met my husband, a Huntsville native and fellow diving instructor. I have over 1,000 dives and have been scuba diving all over the world in Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, Greece, Ireland, U.S.A, and Honduras. For a long time, I have wanted to set up my own company working with kids, families, nervous divers, and special needs. My husband and I made Huntsville our home in December 2017 and I was finally able to start Trunkfish Adventures. I'm excited to share my love of being underwater and blowing bubbles with Y’ALL!
